Redshift for Houdini supports the material_override primitive attribute to override any of the materials parameters on the mesh objects. The materials for each primitive can be set using the shop_materialpath attribute.
With the same workflow used by the material_override attribute, the plugin also supports the material_stylesheet primitive attribute to set materials at primitive leveld and override material parameters.
The plugin also supports a lot of the Houdini stylesheets features at scene, object and mesh level. The scene level stylesheets can be configured in the Redshift ROP node. Using the stylesheets, the user can set materials to any target, or override any material parameter.
The point instances stylesheets set attribute and attribute override features are also supported.
